Job Description

The Content Manager is responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining engaging content for print and digital platforms. The Content Manager raises brand awareness by developing strategies such as editorial collaborations and partnerships and interviews with external partners. Reports to the Head of Creative.

• Writes, edits, and curates all content related to brand storytelling, including but not limited to stories, recipes, and articles, restaurant and counter descriptions and product copy
• Ensures accuracy, quality and brand consistency across all communications (print and digital)
• Executes editorial collaborations and partnerships
• Manages the editorial calendar and analyzes metrics for newsletters and the website
• Collaborates with team members for graphics, photos, recipes, videos and more
• Writes, edits, and translates documents (from Italian to English and from English to Italian)
• Works alongside the Marketing Team to creatively promote Eataly and its products and services online/in-store
• Helps design and execute content strategy and provides creative solutions
• Ensures content's consistency and continuity with Eataly’s S.E.O. strategy
• Advises Marketing Leadership Team on content creation
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Marketing and/or Communications
• Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of Search Engine Optimization (S.E.O.), web traffic metrics and newsletter metrics
• Basic knowledge of social media best practices
• Professional working proficiency in Italian language
• Knowledge of Italian culture and food
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
