    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Technology Specialist to assist our property team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's technology infrastructure, ensuring the seamless functioning of IT systems, and providing technical support to enhance guest and staff experiences.

    • Network and Systems Management:
      • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the hotel's computer networks, servers, and systems.
      • Ensure the security and integrity of data, implementing best practices for data management.
    • User Support:
      • Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
      • Collaborate with external vendors for additional support when needed.
    • Cybersecurity:
      • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect the hotel's IT infrastructure.
      • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging threats to proactively enhance security protocols.
    • Training and Documentation:
      • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff proficiency in using technology.
      • Maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and procedures.
    • Vendor Management:
      • Manage relationships with IT vendors, ensuring service level agreements are met.
      • Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts to optimize IT services.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in IT, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
    • In-depth knowledge of computer systems, networks, and cybersecurity.
    • Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is a plus.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
