Job Summary:
We are seeking an Assembly Technician who will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of technical tasks related to various equipment systems such as life support, air-to-air refueling, and personal survival equipment. The role involves performing both routine and non-routine work on these systems.

Responsibilities:
- Execute diverse tasks to construct, assemble, inspect, test, calibrate, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, replace, modify, and program different products and product lines
- Collaborate with Engineers on the construction and assembly of prototype units, developmental units, first article units, and upgrades to existing units
- Operate various metal fabricating equipment, including but not limited to rolling machines, drills, and saws
- Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools (such as drills, sanders, files, grinders, rivet guns, and paint equipment), as well as jigs, fixtures, gauges, and measuring and test equipment
- Maintain thorough records of work activities for current and future reference
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- Completion of a 2-year technical degree in electrical, electrical/mechanical, or mechanical field
- Eligibility to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship, both currently and in the future
- This position involves access to sensitive information and hardware regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Therefore, all applicants must meet the ITAR definition of a U.S. person, which includes being a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
- No relocation assistance is available for this position. Only applicants residing within a 70-mile radius of Davenport, IA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service members are exempt from this geographical limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment
- 3 years of troubleshooting experience gained within the last 5 years
Criteria:
- Proficiency in electronics, electro-mechanical, mechanical, and hybrid combinations of these fields
- Demonstrated proficiency in job-related mathematical skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret technical and written instructions, engineering blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, including tolerances
- Knowledge of electronic circuitry and ability to use electronic tools and test equipment for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic components and assemblies
- Capability to perform assigned duties without specialized tooling or test equipment
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
