ETP offers full work scope support for air to air Heat Exchangers, Precoolers, Reheaters and Condensers. We specialize in all types of Oil Coolers for all engine and APU applications Bench Test through Recore. Job Description: Heat Exchanger Technicians check for common problems such as leaks, core/fin/plate damage, often referring to schematics and specifications to locate the malfunction. Potential to support heat transfer aircraft components not limited to: testing, cleaning, troubleshooting, repairs, and inspection. Application of knowledge and instruction from Component Maintenance Manuals (CMMs) to evaluate and maintain aircraft components required. Effective troubleshooting requires the expertise and usage of diagnostic tools, various test stands, and compliance with CMM requirements. Tasks will require experience in repair/recore of plate/fin heat exchangers as well as tube type precoolers/fuel heaters/coolers. Essential Job Responsibilities: * Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and repair of heat transfer components. * Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer components * Comply with FAA industry regulations * Test, disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble aircraft components. * Work overtime on a short notice. * Follow customers special instructions and requirements.

    • Follow all company procedures and policies. * Follow all safety and security policies and regulations. * Back up department functions, cross-train in other departments and performs other duties as necessary.
    • Report for duty as assigned and on time. Requirements/Qualifications:
    • Solid mathematical and measurement skills * Able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand, stoop, or reach throughout shift * At least 2-3 years of heat transfer experience recommended or relevant technical experience
    • Ability to use basic hand and power tools * Ability to interpret blueprints preferred * Experience with precision measuring tools preferred EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: * Requires a high school diploma or GED * Two-Three years of heat transfer experience or completion of a comparable apprenticeship program * Familiarity with Metric system and tight tolerances (0.01mm) * Ability to troubleshoot/repair/improve tooling and machine set-ups. * Requires a demonstrated knowledge of aerospace requirements such as work instructions, preventive maintenance, CMMs, etc. * Ability to multi-task and work with little to no supervision. * Personal computer skills in MS Office and previous experience in heat exchanger manufacturing processes is preferred.
