TITLE: Financial Analyst

LOCATION: Hanover, MD

JOB OVERVIEW:

Eccalon LLC is the leading technology and innovation company in the Washington, DC metro area. We're now hiring a talented Financial Analyst to join the Finance team. The Financial Analyst will be reports directly to the Finance Manager and work closely with Senior Management. Responsibilities to include but not limited to, program control, invoicing, accounts payable and budgeting and forecasting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics preferred

3-5+ years of business finance or other relevant experience

Experience working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and related technologies

Proven work experience in a quantitatively heavy role

Strong knowledge of Excel

Strong quantitative and analytical competency, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts

Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills

Experience working with, and presenting to, senior executives

Government contracting experience is a plus
