Job Description
Echelon Fitness is looking for highly motivated Web designer to join the Graphics-Web and Marketing department.
This is a full time position where applicant will be responsible for maintaining existing sales sites as well as developing new ones. Working knowledge of current coding standards, SEO, and Google Adwords are not necessary but a huge bonus. You will work closely with the Creative Director and Marketing Manager to complete all tasks. Please review the criteria below for an outline of responsibilities.
PAY IS NEGOTIABLE ACCORDING TO EXPERIENCE.
WEBSITE DESIGN
o Analyze project to determine appropriate design criteria and needed features. o Work with graphics team to ensure site design is on brand o Implements design and develop features where needed o Update websites with new product listings: Includes taking/editing product photos, writing SEO friendly product descriptions, and listing products for multiple sales channels o Continuous site content generation and updates
o Experience with Shopify and content management systems such as WordPress and Shopify Liquid are preferred
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
o Keep up to date with new web standards and apply them where needed o Analyze and understand core demographic for each site to ensure correct market targeting o Apply demographic understanding to optimize site SEO and conversions
FINANCIAL PLANNING & BUDGETING
o Monitor and maintain marketing budget for both in and out of house digital marketing o Analyze selling trends for product pricing and report findings for adjusting market pricing for products o Track and report financial information to CFO and CEO
MOBILE APPLICATION COORDINATION
o Critique application design and communicate design needs to developers o Trouble shoot and suggest action for obstacles o Test application with product and ensure all integrations work correctly
SOCIAL MEDIA
o Work with Social Media Coordinator and Marketing Director to develop campaigns o Keep current on trends and ensure use of best practices o Supply content ideas and materials to social media associate
