    Job Description

    POSITION CONCEPT Work with Eckerd Connects managers to develop and implement a comprehensive and targeted outreach plan that cultivates partnerships with: individuals, community & faith-based organizations, schools, city programs and events, and leaders that can refer eligible and appropriate participants to the program. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Develop and execute effective outreach strategies for under-served communities. 
    • Implement a recruitment and enrollment plan for targeted areas by researching and understanding target population demographic and geographic data. 
    • Present and discuss the eligibility requirements and benefits of Eckerd programs with referral sources as well as with the prospective participants themselves, resulting in new participants enrolling in Eckerd programs.
    • Attend and present at community events to increase visibility within the community. 
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from outreach activity in a timely fashion. 
    • Work with Eckerd Connects managers to set specific outreach targets and develops action plans in achieving recruitment goals
    • Perform community and street canvassing activities
    • Conduct an outreach campaign to alumni of the Eckerd Connects programs to develop a pipeline of new participants.
    • Ability to use technology and learn new applications

    OTHER DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO

    • Participate in training and development activities as required.
    • Report any acts, incidents or conditions that reflect the possibility of inappropriate participant to participant or staff-to-participant relationships.
    • Report any use of physical force and all unusual incidents per ECKERD policy and state guidelines.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    POSITION SPECIFICATIONS _Education: _High School diploma required. _Experience: _Two years working in marketing. Experience working with targeted population preferred. _Skills: _Willingness to share skills, knowledge, and expertise. Demonstrates a positive attitude and acts as a positive role model, analytical, excellent verbal and written communication, self-motivation, resourceful, creative, collaborative, interpersonal skills, flexible, objective, problem solving, decision making, organization, planning and critical judgment skills. Phone skills, Recruiting, Interviewing skills, supports diversity, Results-driven. _Other: _Must meet state criminal background check requirements, must possess ability to past a drug test. Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. Travel: Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. Must have and maintain an appropriate and valid state driver's license. Travel may be up to 30% each month but may exceed at certain times. Physical Demands: Requires extended periods of walking/sitting/standing. Depending on the assigned program/facility, position may also occasionally expose incumbent to working outdoors for extended periods of time, and exposure to the elements. Incumbent may occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds.
