    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Interact with Workforce Advisors and the individual customers of the EARN (TANF) and WIOA Intensive/Training Services Programs to identify and capture employment opportunities conducting outreach and contacting appropriate employers to promote the hiring of customers in employment to meet program requirements;
    • Complete required data entry accurately and timely, recording all employer contacts and services in the CWDS system; collecting reports weekly and reporting to Direct of Employment Services.
    • Maintain contact with employers during the hiring process and identify job seekers not hired and work with the assigned Workforce Advisor to improve the job seeker’s employment competitiveness; contact employers after customers are hired to determine job retention and advancement.
    • Meet with all new WIOA and EARN customers within the established time to discuss and define job finding services provided at the Center assisting with the recommendations to the Life Skills Coach, EARN instructors and the Cross-Center Product Box Team.
    • Work with the Cross-Center Business Services Team in organizing In-Center recruitment and hiring events contributing to the attainment of the TANF and WIOA Intensive/Training Services performance metrics and success indicators.

    Qualifications ****

    • Associate degree and/or a minimum of 3 years’ job placement or sales experience.
    • Experience working with the targeted population. 3+ years relevant work experience preferred.
    • Must have an appropriate and valid state driver’s license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes.

    Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
