Eclaire Health is a manufacturing facility located in Gresham, Oregon. Our mission is to help people live a healthy lifestyle by providing the best nutritional supplements in a delicious format.

We are seeking a Controller to be responsible for corporate accounting and internal reporting. The Controller is responsible for ensuring that all accounting allocations are appropriately made and documented. Financial reporting duties include preparing financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget to actuals, and financial projections.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• In-depth financial analysis and provide expert financial perspective and opinions to assess risk. Analyze efficiency and inform policy decisions made by executive management. 
• Prepare monthly reporting package, including comparative reports of GAAP operating results and financial position and variance explanations.
• Prepare monthly forecast update.
• Assist with preparation of semiannual company reporting package.
• Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner and accounts receivable are collected promptly
• Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed.
• Make sure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis.
• Maintain the chart of accounts and an orderly accounting filing system.
• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
• Prepare or review the City Business License, personal property tax, and other government forms.
• Preparation (or review), analysis, and true ups of corporate allocation and recoveries.
• Review intercompany billings to the parent company, including the follow-up of payment.
• Assist in preparing the annual corporate budgets.
• Special projects as required.

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, CPA, or equivalent business experience
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a company or division of a corporation
• Two years of supervisory responsibility

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.
• Ability to meet and establish deadlines.
• Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate to advanced applications software expertise (Excel and accounting software, QuickBooks preferred).
• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries and complaints.
• Must be able to calculate figures and amounts for all bookkeeping, payroll, budgets, statistical analysis, and probability statements.
• Controller must use the utmost discretion in all presentations/correspondence and communication for staff.
• Corporate accounting experience, including overheads and payroll.
• Experience in forecasting and budgeting.
