    THIS POSITION IS PART TRAVEL, PART REMOTE. YOU MUST LIVE IN CA, OR, AZ, TX, NJ OR NV

    Eclipse provides high-quality managed on-site services to distribution centers. The organization focuses on dock management services, including inbound receiving, cross-docking, pallet management, and limited security and janitorial services. We are looking for a SAFETY COORDINATOR. THIS POSITION IS PARTLY TRAVEL, PART REMOTE.

    CORPORATE SAFETY COORDINATOR

    DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Facilitates productive discussions among employees and management relative to safe workplace practices.

    · Identifies and implements new safety outreach and education strategies and approaches.

    · Requests and collects employee feedback and suggestions on safety procedures.

    · Identifies opportunities to minimize workplace injuries, accidents, and health problems.

    · Conducts or facilitates employee training on applicable safety standards.

    · Reviews current safety training and recommends revisions, improvements, and updates.

    · Conducts safety inspections and audits.

    • Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.
    • Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
    • Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
    • Monitors compliance with safety procedures.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.

    · Familiar with company safety policies and applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.

    · Excellent written and verbal communication skills with public speaking ability a plus.

    · Excellent interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to conduct training.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Proficient in technology and equipment used in environmental inspections.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelors degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required;
    • Five years of related experience preferred.
