    Job Description

    Frette is seeking an ambitious E-Commerce Intern to support the E-Commerce team in site operations, including digital merchandising, routine site QA, content updates, and enhancement projects on Frette.com. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

    This internship provides exposure to key aspects of ecommerce, offering learning opportunities in product launches, website upkeep, sale setup, and cross-functional teamwork.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Site Checks: Assist with routine website audits (checking links, product pages, images).
    • Merchandising Support: Help organize products into categories, collections, or seasonal groupings.
    • Sale Prep: Assist in setting up sales by checking pricing, ensuring correct products are included, and reviewing promotional banners.
    • Product Page Setup: Support in setting up product sets or bundles on product pages.
    • QA Assistance: Test basic website functions (add to cart, checkout, navigation) and flag any issues.
    • Competitor Monitoring: Help track competitor promotions and note interesting product arrangements or sales strategies.
    • Heat Mapping & Performance Tracking: Assist in reviewing heatmaps and basic site engagement tools to understand how customers interact with pages and content.
    • Homepage Content Support: Help update content on the homepage (seasonal features, sale banners, product highlights).
    • General Support: Provide administrative assistance to the ecommerce team as needed (organizing files, updating simple spreadsheets, preparing recaps after sales).
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
    • Previous internship or relevant experience in ecommerce or a related field is a plus, but not required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, etc.).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; interest in learning basic data and site performance tools.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    This role requires 3 days a week in the NYC office.

    The hourly pay rate for this role is $18 - $20 per hour.
