Job Description

Under direction of buyer/planners and Management, the person will be responsible for contributing to department activities in support of meeting customer satisfaction and on time delivery goals of organization.

DUTIES:

• Assist in mitigating impact to organization of unprecedented supply chain challenges (longer lead times, shrinking supplier inventories, material quality issues and price increases) and support the significant increase to purchasing activities required to maintain and support consistent flow of materials to production.
• Support MRP implementation activities
• Assist in creating and documenting an MRO replenishment program to support Tecate and Anaheim production requirements.
• Update original D365 Process Documentation to account for adjustments/changes since initial goLIVE
• Use Excel, Macros to help create automation for various purchasing related tasks and reports.
• Serves as a proactive customer service & quality ambassador of The Econolite Group, Inc. by representing the organization in a positive, professional manner to support The Brand Promise
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• General knowledge/experience of standard purchasing practices
• Strong Excel skills; proficient in other Microsoft applications (Outlook/Word)
• Previous ERP/MRP experience (D365/AX a plus)
• Strong time management skills to accomplish goals within challenging schedules.
• High attention to detail and quality of work

DESIRABLE:

• In pursuit of a Supply Chain Certification or Degree
• 26 hrs. per week
