  • Responsibilities

    The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for preserving the good condition and functionality of the hotel premises. The goal will be to maintain the buildings, guestrooms, and common areas in the best possible condition. Responsibilities: • Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards. • Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs/sockets, clean and repair circuit breaker panels, etc.) • Assist in the repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems when necessary. • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. • Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed. • Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, etc.) • Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry, etc.) • Other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: • Ability to work on a team and independently. • Strong organizational skills. • High level of professionalism. • Detail oriented. • Ability to adhere to procedures and guidelines. Customer service ensures guests have an excellent experience. • Problem-solving skills. • At least one (1) year of maintenance experience, is required. • Basic knowledge of electrical and other systems is required. • Knowledge of general maintenance processes, methods, tools, appliances, and devices, is required. • A certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field, is a plus. Compensation: $18+ per hour
