  • Responsibilities

    We are looking for a deadline-focused technical recruiter to be responsible for the sourcing, screening, and hiring of technical specialists to fill IT positions. Responsibilities include all aspects of hiring, from sourcing candidates, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and overseeing the entire hiring process. In addition, requirements include meeting with hiring managers to assist in writing job descriptions to offering job positions to the most suitable candidates. The goal is to build a strong pipeline of technical talent and to hire and retain skilled professionals for our organization.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Collaborates with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled, and reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
    • Assists with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
    • Identifies the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
    • Drafts recruitment advertisements: posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
    • Selects and manage placement agencies to assist with recruitment process.
    • Identifies appropriate candidates and assesses their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
    • Connects qualified candidates with hiring managers.
    • Maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
    • Inspects potential candidates’ credentials.
    • Provides advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
    • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A relevant Bachelor of Science or Human Resources degree. IT degree with Technical Recruiting experience a plus.
    • Minimum of 4 years of recruiting experience in like positions.
    • Minimum of 3 years of Technical Recruiting in the government space, including cleared positions
    • Prior experience with conducting various types of interviews (e.g., structured, phone, Google Teams)
    • Experience with resume databases and Applicant Tracking Systems
    • Experience with various sourcing methods (e.g., Boolean search, social media recruiting etc.)
    • Sound knowledge of full cycle recruiting
    • Strong verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills
    • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
    • Understanding of technology and technical skills.
    • Experience in recruitment processes and platforms.
    • Good interpersonal and decision-making skills.
    • Must be a US Citizen

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Preferred successful technical recruiting experience in IT/Government markets.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, PHR and/or CIR strongly preferred.
    • Secret Clearance (preferred, not required)
