    Job Description

    Account Management is focused on client relationships, and the team is held accountable to grow and develop our regional client base. This is accomplished by nurturing existing relationships through expert strategic advisory & relationship management which ultimately leads to strong client satisfaction and retention.

    Client Relationship Managers (CRM) act as a strategic advisor and consultant to Edge’s clients, providing technical and business focused guidance and support to provide a critical service wrapper around Edge’s managed technology offerings. The CRM also plays an important role in supporting the teams in a cross functional manner with the creation, management, and evolution, of the workflows, systems, policies, and procedures required to provide our clients with the highest level of service.

    Responsibilities

    • An absolute focus on customer retention and satisfaction through the creation and management of deep and meaningful relationships with clients.
    • Proactive approach to management ensuring client overall health remains strong.
    • As an Edge product expert, consult with clients to ensure they are properly leveraging Edge’s product portfolio.
    • Act as the Client Advocate delivering the ‘Clients First’ mentality internally in a positive collaborative way, fostering strong relationships to over-deliver every time.
    • Manage and take ownership for escalations of any (or potential) serious/urgent issues.
    • Conduct recurring Strategic Quarterly Business Reviews and other onsite meetings with clients on a regular basis.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with other regions to ensure national and international clients are supported in a standardized, consistent way.

    Skills & Experience

    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of distilling complex technical messages into a format that can be delivered to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Team player with a demonstrated record of leadership, communication, collaboration and reliability.
    • Excellent commercial acumen, product and industry awareness.
    • Solution driven approach to problem solving.
    • Minimum five-year experience in account management or senior consulting role in a fast-paced technology firm or MSP.
    • Ability to do consultative sales while achieving individual and team sales targets.
    • High level knowledge and understanding of the application of networking, private, public and hybrid cloud technologies in a business context.
    • Experience managing an IT function in the financial, professional services or Alternative Investment Market is a plus.
    • Strong preference for those who were ‘born from’ the hedge fund or financial services environment.

    Physical Demands

    The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 40 pounds. In addition, the employee may be required to sit at a desktop monitor for long hours and take phone calls.
