Who we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a hands-on Product Developer & Designer to join our Innovation team. You’ll get to create and assist with implementation of new fruit arrangements and innovative products from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate will be creative and curious, have a strong sense of design, create new fresh fruit product ideas, experiment with ingredients and flavor profiles, and develop the recipe to prepare for a launch that WOWs our guests. How you’ll make an impact:

• Create innovative new products and processes while bringing them to market from concept through to commercialization
• Research trends in ingredients, product designs, and food gifting solutions to bring inspiration and stimulation to the ideation and funnel filling process
• Build an intimate knowledge of Edible Arrangements product designs, design best practices, store operations, product standards, product data and product technology systems
• Assist in the development of creative communication materials, through ownership of all associated product design and display elements
• Manage ad-hoc product related requests and help to frame optimal pathways and solutions to enable effective decision making

And here’s what we think you’re like:

• Minimum of 2 years food design, gift basket and/or floral design and preparation experience. This is required.
• Hands-on product development experience a plus, ideally with specific examples of marketplace successes
• Knowledge of ingredients (fruits and toppings), product design, product standards, food safety and store operations highly preferred
• Naturally creative and curious personality, with a strong action orientation, and desire to identify novel ideas and bring new concepts to market
• Strong team orientation, with a natural bias to help deliver against both individual and team goals in a proactive manner
• Knowledge of procurement processes and ability to work with external vendors, and ingredient/technology suppliers
• Ability to thrive and excel in a fast paced, demanding environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
