CONTRACT IP AND COMPLIANCE ATTORNEY (4-6 MONTHS)

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
The Contract IP & Compliance Attorney will aggressively and passionately defend and expand our brand. Your principal duties will include trademark and copyright portfolio management, strategic advice to our executive management team, and counseling to our highly experienced research and development team on all intellectual property, licensing, branding, marketing, labeling, and enforcement matters. You will be responsible for the management of our entire intellectual property portfolio, including international matters with foreign associates, and you must be willing to take ownership of brand protection.
Additionally, you will be responsible for all advertising and marketing review to confirm FTC and FDA compliance and to clear any new trademarks utilized (whether slogan or product names) as well as additional items which may arise, including, but not limited to, assisting with basic contract drafting and assistance with litigation matters. You must be versatile, enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and have sound judgment, particularly in ambiguous situations. You will report to the Corporate General Counsel.
