    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY

     

    Provide superior quality customer service and a positive banking experience for customers with the efficient processing of daily transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Perform a broad variety of customer service functions. Professionally handle requests from customers regarding new accounts, maintenance of their accounts, and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and accurately within established policy and procedure guidelines.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    1. Process transactions accurately and efficiently to build customer confidence and trust, based on established policies and procedures.

    2. Daily balancing and verifying cash totals. Promptly resolve discrepancies.

    3. Demonstrate passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers with positive, upbeat attitude.

    4. Possess in-depth knowledge on a wide array of deposit related products and services.

    5. Deliver a high level of service through identifying opportunities, thoroughly and efficiently gathering customer information, assess and fulfill customer needs, and educate the customer where applicable.

    6. Responsible for opening and servicing personal and business deposit accounts, as well as, ancillary products and services, within established policies and procedures; Follow up with file maintenance to ensure accuracy of customer records.

    7. Responsible for completing appropriate paperwork and obtaining necessary authorization(s) as well as, accurate data entry when opening, maintaining and closing customer accounts.

    8. Comply with state and federal regulations, and the Bank Secrecy Act, including obtaining and notating required documentation for the bank’s Customer Identification Program and enhanced due diligence requirements. Comply with all established policies and procedures related to the protection of customer and bank assets.

    9. Investigate and resolve a wide variety of issues and requests to include probing for additional information from customers and setting expectations.

    10. Act as an ambassador of the bank - smile and greet customers; build customer loyalty through courtesy, friendliness and professionalism, including addressing each customer by name.

    11. Demonstrate passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers with positive, upbeat attitude.

    12. Perform other related duties such as performing internal control audits, filing, customer correspondence, data input, other teller line functions and Safe Deposit Box duties.

    13. Keep supervisor or management informed of any customer issues.

    14. Maintain good working relationships with all personnel.

    15. Ensure that work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.

    16. Maintain confidentiality of customer information.

    17. Project and maintain the positive image and reputation of Edison National Bank to the public and co-workers.

    18. Adhere to state laws and governmental regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act and Community Reinvestment Act compliance.

    19. Willingness to attend schools, seminars and meetings to keep abreast of laws, regulations, and services, as needed.

    20. Adopt Edison National Bank’s philosophies and adhere to the “Better Way” program.

    21. Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management.

    22. May be required to work at other office locations.

    23. Regular attendance according to work schedule.
