Our client, a growing mechanical contractor in the Charleston, SC area is looking for several Sheet Metal Mechanic employees to start immediately for a 6-12 month project with per diem included.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal components such as ductwork, HVAC systems, and roofing materials according to project specifications.
• Utilize hand and power tools to cut, bend, and shape sheet metal as required.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and work performed on-site.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic in the construction industry.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work on different construction projects as needed.
