Job Description
Storehouse Voices, a newly established imprint of the Crown Publishing Group at Penguin Random House, seeks an organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven Editorial Assistant to provide administrative and editorial support to the editorial director and executive editor acquiring up to 15 frontlist commercial fiction and nonfiction titles annually.

Our imprint elevates fiction and nonfiction that interrogates and re-imagines our past & present and conceives of new futures. Titles published and upcoming from Storehouse Voices include contemporary, historical, romance, speculative and magical realist fiction as well as narrative nonfiction, memoir, self-help, inspirational, and biographical nonfiction. We are dedicated to amplifying culturally rich narratives and developing an environment that bolsters creators and engages the community as integral members of our publishing family through our imprint and annual Women & Words program.

The current salary for this position $55,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
Penguin Random House is headquartered in New York City. This flexible hybrid role is based at our offices at 1745 Broadway and typically requires 1–2 in-office days per week. Additional on-site attendance may occasionally be needed to support programming, events, or other business needs. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of New York City or be prepared to relocate prior to their start date.
