Early Childhood Center in Miami Downtown/Brickell is looking for a Director!
Benefits:
Our compensation package is very competitive in the early childhood industry in South Florida. We offer a base salary and a bonus program based on results. We also offer opportunities for professional development.
Tuition benefits for team members’ children ages 0 - 5 years old, and ages 5 - 10 in our summer camp and afterschool programs (when available). Paid Childcare tuition for the 1st child and 50% discount for additional children.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field - Preferred
Experience managing and leading teams, especially where customer service is critical
Must speak English. Bilingual Spanish-English is a plus
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Directors and Staff Credentials for Child Care Center Director as required by ELC and DCF
45 hours DCF Requirements
People, customer service, and sales skills are necessary
Experience in Education, Early childhood education - Preferred
Administrative experience and computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Suite, Google Docs/Sheets, Smartcare) - Preferred
What you will be doing:
The director will execute leadership, which involves communicating, inspiring, supervising, and motivating his/her team to act towards achieving the schools and organizational goals.
The director will be actively supported by a team of professionals in the areas of marketing, technology, finance, human resources, curriculum, and operations to manage and coordinate all operations, administration, and academics at the preschool center. The support team will guide you and assist you in the management of the preschool center. The director will be actively involved and working together with the team of directors from our VESS Network of preschool centers.
As a preschool center director, you will develop positive relationships with parents, children, and co-workers. You will work to develop excellent leadership skills to supervise and inspire your team to work diligently. You will perform sales and customer service duties when selling the school and registering new children to maintain high occupation goals. You will provide a warm, nurturing, safe, and loving environment where self-concepts are enhanced, independence is encouraged, and individuality is respected. You will ensure that the educational model and curriculum are applied and implemented successfully.
