    Job Overview
    We are looking for a talented multi-tasker with excellent communication and organizational skills to fit into our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience for independent insurance agents and their staff by coordinating various educational programs and events. This position requires strong organizational skills, a commitment to attendee success, and the ability to work collaboratively. Daily operations include answering phone calls and emails, responding to client issues, filing, assisting clients with billing inquiries, and supporting office staff.

    To be successful in this position, applicants need to be comfortable with learning software, general office tasks, and enjoy both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, we are looking for people that have a genuine desire to meet the needs of others.

    Duties

    • Create the annual CE schedule/instructors and send to applicable entities for multiple course offerings
    • Create and submit a report tracking expenses and revenue for each class
    • Contact instructor to set up quarterly Pre-Licensing webinars. Order books and have shipped to participants no later than a week and a half prior to the class. Send Certificate of Completion for all participants to instructor for signature, forward to students for their information and upload on the DOI web site
    • Secure hotel or other location for the institutes and negotiate contracts
    • Coordinate travel schedules with instructors and make appropriate room reservations
    • Administer and/or attend certain CE events
    • Will need to have working knowledge of the association management system
    • Renew PIA Courses/Instructors bi-annually

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • At least 2 years of experience with a trade association or in an office administrative role, demonstrating a strong track record in customer service and event planning
    • Background in planning, organizing, and managing resources to achieve specific goals within set timeframes
    • A proven ability to work collaboratively is essential
    • High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, professional communication skills, and experience with AMO association management software is highly valued
