    We are seeking a Chief of Partner Strategy to oversee EA's strategy and execution of delivering our products and services to our partners. This role will be a member of EA's Executive Team, serving as a global institutional leader, a senior advisor for strategic portfolios of our work, and a strategic liaison between the organization and our partners. This role will be responsible for overseeing our Partner Strategy division, which includes our Data Strategy team and Partner Success team. The Chief of Partner Strategy will manage the vision and roadmap for the Partner Strategy division, manage the teams and supervise the leaders within the division, and support the overall growth and development of EA's delivery function. The ideal candidate for this role has prior experience in a senior leadership or executive role within an education or educational technology non-profit, experience overseeing or managing the development and delivery of products in that setting, deep expertise with data management and analysis in K-12 education (with a strong preference for expertise with Ed-Fi), and extensive knowledge of the K-12 education technology market.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead and support the Partner Strategy division (40%)
    • Develop and oversee a strategic roadmap for the division to guide the priorities of the teams within it
    • Manage Sr. Director of Data Strategy, who manages the Data Strategy and Partner Success teams
    • Lead the vision and strategy across the teams within the division
    • Support cross-team communication within the division to support successful project and partner management
    • Serve in strategic partner leadership role for key partners (40%)
    • Act as senior advisor for our portfolio of work in Texas
    • Act as senior advisor for other portfolios of work as needed
    • Support business development (10%)
    • Identify, pursue, and close on deals with key partners, including state departments of education, school districts, philanthropies, and others
    • Contribute to and support the completion of proposals for delivery of our work
    • Serve as member of the Executive Team (10%)
    • Attend weekly Executive Team meetings
    • Contribute to organizational vision, strategy, and execution
    • Attend external meetings with partners to represent the Executive Team where appropriate
    • Directly supervise leader(s) within the division

    Required Knowledge and Skills

    • Strategic thinker able to identify long-term opportunities and trends
    • Creative thinker and analytical problem solver
    • Deep knowledge of market insights within K-12 education
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong people management skills
    • Excellent conflict resolution skills, especially when working with external clients or customers
    • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with a range of individuals and teams
    • Ability to lead and drive their work independently while aligning to a global organizational strategy

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; MBA is preferred
    • 5+ years of prior experience in a senior leadership or executive role
    • 5+ years of experience with K-12 data management and analysis, with a strong preference for expertise with Ed-Fi
    • 1`0+ years of experience leading teams responsible for delivery or implementation of products and services within the U.S. public education field
    • 10+ years of experience in a non-profit setting
    • 10+ years of experience in the education research or education technology sector

    Compensation and Benefits

    • The starting salary for this position is $190,000, based on experience. EA also has a generous benefits package including:
