DESCRIPTION
The Human Resource Generalist performs human-resource-related duties at the professional level and may carry out responsibilities in all the following
functional areas: compliance, administration, hiring and recruiting, payroll and benefits. This role has a heavy focus on candidate experience; recruiting;
recruiting operations and insights; sourcing; talent brand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and lead recruitment strategy including sourcing, talent brand,
and recruitment insights
- Manage the hiring and onboarding process including recruiting,
- candidate management, conducting and coordinating interviews and
phone screens, reviewing resumes, performing reference checks,
completing offers, conducting new hire orientation and training
- Leading the recruitment, design, and coordination of summer
internship program Maintain all employee and applicant
documentation as dictated by governing agencies
- Benefits Administration
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and
conducts exit interviews to determine the reasons behind separations.
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Respond to employee relations issues such as employee complaints,
harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints
- Manage, edit, and review handbooks
- Assist with training related to interviewing, hiring, terminations,
promotions, performance review, compliance, and sexual harassment
- Payroll Administration
- Complete and file EEO-1 report
- Implement and manage Affirmative Action plan
- Manage PTO, Leave of Absence Administration, FMLA, and Parental
Leave
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate or Bachelors degree or equivalent training in related field
- HR Certification
- 2-4 years demonstrated experience in human resources

self-motivated
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in an environment in which organization
processes, tools, deadlines etc. are continually being established and

- Committed to creating & searching for new and innovative approaches
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills
- High degree of organizational and time management skills; able to set

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Thorough understanding of human resource methods and best
practices, as well as policies and federal, state, and local employment
laws and regulations.
