Position Summary
As an Education Coach at Primrose School of Denver Central Park, you will play a critical role in driving educational excellence. You will mentor and coach teachers, support classroom quality, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the highest standards of curriculum implementation and early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities
Teacher Coaching and Development
Mentor and coach teachers to ensure fidelity and excellence in Balanced Learning® curriculum implementation.
Conduct regular classroom observations using the Teacher Observation Tool and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
Collaborate with teachers to identify strengths and areas for growth, and develop tailored professional development plans.
Support new teacher onboarding and training using classroom-specific learning guides.
Curriculum and Instructional Support
Ensure teachers have access to current and upcoming Lesson Plans and Units of Learning.
Assist teachers with monthly curriculum preparation and planning.
Monitor classroom schedules and routines to ensure consistency and effective learning experiences.
Review and provide feedback on Evidence of Learning Portfolios to ensure quality documentation of student progress.
Collaboration and School Operations
Partner with school leadership to monitor classroom ratios and ensure smooth daily operations.
Work with the Executive Director of Education to enhance curriculum resources and identify professional development opportunities.
Help coordinate and prepare for Family-Teacher Conferences, school-wide events, and special programming.
Attend and participate in required education webinars and professional development sessions.
Quality Assurance and Documentation
Approve educational content, photos, and communications shared via school platforms like Procare.
Maintain accurate records of coaching cycles, goal-setting sessions, and teacher support.
Ensure compliance with state regulations and Roots To Wings LLC internal policies regarding educational content and practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field; OR Child Development Associate™ (CDA) Credential™; OR Level III Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0.
At least two years of experience in a licensed early childhood education setting.
Strong understanding of early childhood curriculum, instructional strategies, and adult coaching techniques.
Comfortable with technology platforms used for lesson planning, communication, and assessment.
