    The St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum is hiring two part-time Education Facilitators to lead school group tours and foster dialogue in our exhibitions. These roles begin in August 2025 and include paid training.

    These positions run August 1st through May 31st at a pay rate of $20/hour. We are hiring for two fixed part-time schedules:

    • Schedule A: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM
    • Schedule B: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday – 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

    Position Overview:
    As an Education Facilitator, you'll guide school groups through our permanent Holocaust exhibition and interactive Impact Lab. You'll be trained to lead age-appropriate, historically accurate tours that encourage reflection and engagement.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead group tours using provided outlines and training materials
    • Facilitate respectful, age-appropriate dialogue in the Impact Lab
    • Adapt to student needs and group dynamics in real time
    • Collaborate with other educators and museum staff
    • Create a welcoming and inclusive experience for all visitors

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in history, education, museum studies, or related field
    • Strong interest in Holocaust history and/or museum education
    • Confident public speaker and discussion facilitator
    • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
    • Comfortable being physically active for up to 2 hours
    • Must pass a background check
