Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Patient Engagement & Communication:
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Ability to coach and support volunteers in basic patient-facing conversations
- Comfortable guiding patients through sensitive conversations around device therapy
Program Coordination:
- Experience managing schedules, tracking volunteer availability, and matching patients
- Ability to maintain organized records (e.g., using Excel, Salesforce, or similar tools)
- Ensures timely follow-up and accurate reporting of interactions
Volunteer Management:
- Experience recruiting and onboarding
- Can lead basic training sessions
Operational Mindset:
- Self-starter who can work independently and improve workflows
- Looks for efficiency in tracking, reporting, and engagement strategies
Healthcare Exposure (Preferred):
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality is critical
- Bonus if they’ve worked in MedTech, hospital call centers, or patient access
