K-8 Private Christian school is seeking a caring, reliable and enthusiastic classroom teacher's assistant to support our lead teacher with creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. The ideal candidate enjoys working with school age children, is patient, and organized, and is passionate about supporting student success.

Key Responsibilities Include:

-Supporting the lead teacher with daily tasks, activities and lesson preparation -Support students individually or in small groups with academic assignments -Help maintain a safe, clean and organized classroom environment -Help supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, dismissal, lunch or recess -Prepare materials, set up learning centers, and help with basic administrative tasks -Communicate effectively with the classroom teacher and other staff at the school

Qualifications:

-High school diploma (required) -Previous experience in a classroom setting (preferred) -Strong communication and teamwork skills -Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude -Ability to follow lesson plans, classroom procedures and a schedule
