Position Summary:
The Educational Coach supports curriculum implementation, teacher development, classroom quality, and compliance across the school. This role ensures classrooms reflect the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach while mentoring staff and promoting a safe, engaging environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum & Classroom Support
Guide teachers in using the Balanced Learning® curriculum and ensure lesson plans and units are current and implemented.
Monitor classroom routines, Daily Schedules, bulletin boards, and posted student work.
Approve lesson plans, educational content, and photos in Procare.
Manage curriculum supplies and oversee classroom readiness.
Teacher Development
Conduct observations using the Teacher Observation Tool and support goal setting.
Train new and current teachers on curriculum, assessment tools (ASQ®, Star Early Literacy®), and best practices.
Support onboarding, staff training, and evaluations.
Compliance & Communication
Ensure teachers meet state and Primrose training requirements.
Support staff with The Essentials, Education Coach Corner, and Learning Manager courses.
Serve as iPad Champion; oversee tech compliance and approved app use.
School Culture & Family Engagement
Plan and lead monthly curriculum trainings and in-service days.
Support Family-Teacher Conferences and assist with enrollment tours.
Help coordinate events, Summer Adventure Club programming, and teacher appreciation efforts.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education (Master’s preferred)
3+ years teaching experience in early childhood
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Familiarity with educational technology and curriculum tools
