Educational Paraprofessional

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Educational Paraprofessional to support classroom teachers and students in our educational programs. The ideal candidate will assist in creating a positive learning environment, providing additional support to students, and helping ensure all learners have the opportunity to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs or learning challenges
• Prepare classroom materials and resources for lessons and activities
• Supervise students during breaks, lunch, and other activities
• Support behavior management strategies and promote positive behavior
• Foster an inclusive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or associate’s degree preferred
• Previous experience working with children or students in an educational setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
