    Job Description

    The Region Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of all EDMO programs in their region. This role specifically oversees in person programming. The Region Manager also oversees scheduling, training and feedback cycles for staff.

    Main responsibilities include:

    • Develop and support EDMO programs under their charge

    • Oversee all programs staff connected to the programs they manage

    • Evaluate and assess program strengths and weaknesses and think strategically about opportunities, adjustments, new ideas, and ways to improve programs

    • Foster and maintain relationships with Partnership Program school districts

    • Work with the the Programs Director to develop plans for future programs

    • Help scout for additional summer programming partners as well as Comprehensive After School Programs in the region

    • Manage and help train all summer staff as well as school year staff (if needed)

    • Visit sites or remotely manage programs as needed - be prepared to assist in anyway needed across all EDMO programs in cases of an emergency

    • Bachelor's Degree in education or a related course of study  

    • Experience working with youth of all ages 

    • Past involvement in a summer camp environment as staff

    • Experience hiring, managing, and coaching a team of employees

    • Experience (and a love for!) working with kids

    • High sense of responsibility and dependability 

    • Experience interacting with parents

    • Skilled in problem solving, multi tasking, creativity and flexibility 

    • Experience facilitating groups of children and/or staff

    • Collaborative, patient and positive attitude with a willingness to problem solve

    • High level of experience providing feedback

    • Knowledge about Social and Emotional learning a plus!

    Additional Information

    Full time position

    Start Date: April 4th or sometime in late March

    Salary: 62,400/year with full benefits package

    Hours: 40+ hours/week

    WHILE PART OF THIS JOB IS REMOTE, IT DOES REQUIRE THAT YOU BE IN PERSON AND ON SITE WHEN PROGRAMS ARE RUNNING IN THE SUMMER AND DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR.

    YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO 3 IN PERSON RETREATS PER YEAR TO COLLABORATE WITH OTHER FULL TIME TEAM MEMBERS. TRAVEL EXPENSES WILL BE PAID BY THE ORG.

    MUST BE UP TO DATE WITH THE COVID - 19 VACCINE TO WORK WITH EDMO.
