    Job Description

    The Ally Media Planner will research, analyze and negotiate rates for various media channels. They will be responsible for participating in strategy discussions with the Marketing Director, adhering to media budget and determining the appropriate media mix to cost effectively reach EDMO’s target audience, maximize exposure, and help achieve program goals.

    Main Duties Include:

    • Developing annual marketing media strategy

    • Building relationships with key media partners

    • Procuring and negotiating media rates and value added packages

    • Providing input on media mix and timing

    • Producing and monitoring detailed media budget

    • Pulling media performance data, along with analysis and implications

    • Supervise the implementation of media campaigns

    • Monitor media trends and share with marketing team

    Position reports to: Marketing Director

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing or relevant field

    • 4 - 6 years experience planning and buying print, online and broadcast media

    • Excellent research and media negotiation skills

    • Clear understanding of media channels and evaluation tools

    • Analytical mind with creative approach to problem solving

    • Ability to work as part of a team and meet deliverables

    Additional Information

    SALARY RANGE DOE: $54,000 - $65,000 annually
