    Job Description

    The Social Media Ally Builder will develop and build EDMO’s online presence, creating awareness of EDMO Live!, as well as future EDMO services. They will be tasked with creating high-quality content, curating social media followers, responding to and engaging with the EDMO community, identifying and creating a dialog with influencers, and expanding the EDMO universe across all key social media platforms.

    Main Duties Include:

    • Developing annual Social Media Communications plan

    • Establish measurable social media objectives

    • Creating and using social media management tools

    • Formulating high quality written and visual content for each channel

    • Contributing to and building the organizations online presence

    • Monitoring all social media activity and review competitive use of social media channels and determine implications

    • Growing follower base and responding to and engaging community and influencers

    • Analyzing social media insights, drawing out implications and refining programs accordingly

    • Providing team with input on social media best practices and how they can contribute via their own channels

    Position reports to: Marketing Director

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing or relevant field

    • 3 - 5  years social media marketing experience in both planning and implementation

    • Ability to convey the proper voice/use appropriate content across each social media platform

    • Proven ability to build social media communities and measure platform success

    • Understanding of graphic design principles

    • Familiar with current social media channels; Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, snapchat, Pinterest, and Twitter, as well as an eye for spotting new social media players/trends

    Additional Information

    SALARY RANGE DOE: $54,000 - $65,000 annually
