Purpose:
Under minimal supervision, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Work in a team oriented environment, perform all tasks in area of responsibility in a timely and efficient manner to support the inspection/quality system ensuring all aspects of the finished article are manufactured in accordance with approved quality system requirements and certified as compliant to type design requirements.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the company's inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, process and finished goods.
- Ensure procedures are properly understood and carried out, and product modifications are investigated if necessary.
- Perform dimensional inspection of all parts utilizing standard tools/inspection gages (Micrometers, Calipers, etc.)
- Implementation of company and departmental goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to QA/QC.
- Ability to read and record dimensional results. Ability to comprehend certification documents and specifications.
- Familiarity with AS9100 Quality System requirements.
- Perform other assigned inspection duties as may be delegated by management for the Quality Assurance Department.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have 2 years prior experience in Quality Assurance or equivalent combination of training or work experience.
- Computer skills required.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Blue Print and 3D model reading experience required.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
