    Are you a dynamic SCHEDULER looking for your next opportunity? Do you have experience providing project scheduling support? We have an opportunity for a SCHEDULER to join our team either remotely or at one of our office locations in WESTMINSTER, CA, BILLINGS, MT, CONCORD, CA OR FERNDALE, WA.  Your knowledge of engineering projects, scheduling, and project controls management will be key to your success in this position. This is a full-time position within our project controls department which reports into the Project Controls Department Manager.

    Do you enjoy contributing to an Engineering, Project’s lifecycle? As a Scheduler at Eichleay you will leverage your multiple skillset of project scheduling with the relationships between scheduling and cost analysis.

    From the assessment phase to a project’s closeout, your experience assisting a Project Manager’s with the rhythm of a projects progress, labor resource, risks, float and reporting will be a sound contribution to a project’s timely success.

    As your schedules aligns with a projects cash flow, the weekly preparation of internal, schedule reporting will assist with a management of a projects timeline. As your project progresses, you will affirm constraints, assess risks and report the change management in your schedules.

    As a member of the Project Controls department you will be involved with measuring the pulse of a project. Your role pulls from and partners with internal colleagues. This collaboration is often dynamic, fast paced yet rewarding.

    Compensation $140,000-$160,000

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS:

    • Reviews and monitors of project management reports pertaining to budget, productivity, manpower, schedule and manhours on all projects.
    • Assists Project Managers in preparation of monthly project control reports, as well as monitors and reviews operational
    • reports prepared by the project concerning cost, schedule, progress, budget, forecast, manpower, and quantities. Reports
    • significant trends or variances to Project Managers.
    • Conducts meetings, drafts reports or reviews work of others as related to project cost and schedule management.
    • Provides periodic summary reports, graphs, production rates and manpower projections.
    • Prepares comparisons and evaluations associated with project estimates, forecasts, cost trends and schedules pertaining
    • to budgets, productivity, manpower loadings and other operational data parameters.
    • Maintains data for proposals pertaining to cost estimates, schedules, and project control procedures.
    • May require short- or long-term field assignments.
    • Provides guidance to lower level project controls staff when necessary.
    • Requires general review by more senior staff on more complex aspects of work.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or scientific discipline, and minimum 10 years of work experience with advance
    • knowledge of business management and data processing, obtainable usually through a combination of work experience
    • and continuing education.
    • Must have strong skills in Microsoft Project or other scheduling software (i.e., Primavera) and Microsoft Suite.
    • Must have excellent communications skills as there is frequent interaction with internal staff, vendors and clients.
    • Must be able to process and comprehend project design requirements, schedule impacts, client impacts, and to make
    • recommendations about project requirements to ensure estimate and schedule meet all the design criteria.
    • Must be able to effectively interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments.
    • Must have thorough knowledge of current principles and practices of engineering as related to the variety of aspects
    • affecting their organization. Must be able to translate this knowledge to resolve critical issues and/or unique conditions.
    • Ability to be badged for a process safety management governed facility which requires in depth drug screening.

    PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Petrochemical, oil and gas experience including; maintenance process and utility unit projects, life sciences, facility (Bldg.) and or food and beverage.
