We are seeking a CAD Manager to join our team at Eichleay. This is position will be based in Concord, CA and will report directly into the Vice President of Engineering.

Eichleay provides full service design, engineering, consulting, project management, procurement, system integration, and construction management services. Currently we are seeking CAD Manager with strong AutoCAD experience to join our team.
Position Profile:
The CAD Manager is primarily responsible for the proper functioning of electronic tools used to produce engineering deliverables. This typically means the use of AutoCAD, but it may include other proprietary software tools, such as Caesar II used in the engineering department. The CAD Manager will provide technical support, training, and supervision of all CAD users. The CAD Manager will develop strategic planning and budgets for CAD technology items and scope for training.
In addition, the CAD Manager is responsible for vetting new software, including beta testing, the installation of software, the training of staff in the use of new software, and the development and deployment of procedures. The person will understand how to resolve compatibility issues between various software packages and will have the ability to work with IT professionals in the deployment of CAD software. The CAD Manager shall be considered a “super user” and will be proficient in all aspects of CAD and associated programs. The person will be current with leading edge technologies to keep the company advised of trends that may be required for the company to stay relevant. This position requires a high degree of design, drafting and management skills. The CAD Manager interfaces with management, and is accountable for the management of other CAD staff.

Coordinates work with other designers, engineering leads and project manager.

Sound comprehensive knowledge of design and drafting techniques, engineering drawing, CAD/graphics, computer model work, and reading of drawings
