JOB OVERVIEW: Atlas Van Lines is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and dedicated Vinyl Installer to join our Atlas Terminal Company/Shop team! The ideal candidate should have an interest in the mechanical field and some work-related experience. This position will be responsible for preparing and installing vinyl wraps, decals and other coatings that are basic and less complex on equipment in a safe, timely, cost-effective and practical manner.

The essential duties of this position include the following: 

• Applying vinyl vehicle wraps and decals per manufacturer’s recommendations
• Preparing various surfaces, and parts of truck, trailer, etc. for vinyl and other coating application as required by wiping, washing, sanding or other means as necessary
• Assisting with clean-up of newly coated units (tape and masking removal)
• Laying out coating schemes per customers specifications
• Inspecting all work for quality and accuracy of workmanship to include location of vinyl, air pockets, application around rivets, and hardware, etc.
• Cleaning and storing tools and equipment and cleaning worksite

This position is in an indoor environment. The noise level is generally moderate. This position may be exposed to hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, working on scaffolding and high places, or exposure to chemicals in the work setting. This position may also be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dusts.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE & HOURS: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours fall between 7:30 a.m. -4:00 p.m., M-F with occasional overtime.
