    The Section of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Boston University School of Medicine (BUSM) and Boston Medical Center (BMC) is recruiting an outstanding medical oncologist to join the Genitourinary Oncology Program, which is a thriving clinical and translational research unit dedicated to the treatment of genitourinary cancers. The focus of this position is on the clinical care of patients with genitourinary cancers and be involved in clinical care initiatives. Seeking a clinical investigator with experience in clinical trials program in GU malignancies: they will also collaborate with both internal and external laboratory-based investigators pursuing a range of basic and translational research projects. Research in prostate cancer and health disparities represent particularly strong opportunities for development. The successful candidate will also engage in teaching students, residents, and fellows in the clinic and inpatient settings. The successful candidate is also expected to develop, participate, and lead clinical and/or translational research projects; and take an active role in the Section’s clinical activities.

    Required Skills

    The candidate must be MD and BE/BC in Medical Oncology. Demonstrated excellence in patient care. Demonstrated enthusiasm for continuing medical education and strong teaching skills. Must have or be able to attain a medical license in the state of Massachusetts. Must be able to pass credentialing at all applicable sites.

     

    The academic appointment at Boston University School of Medicine will be based on experience and determined by the applicant's credentials. Salary and benefits will be competitive with other institutions.
