  • Responsibilities

    The Faculty Services Department provides a wide range of administrative & organizational support to assist faculty in the performance of their teaching, scholarship, and administrative duties. The Sr. Program Coordinator supports multiple faculty, one or more specific programs or committees, including external professional and public service activities, as well as assist with other miscellaneous departmental projects. One will assist faculty in their teaching responsibilities, such as preparing materials for class, managing course websites, reserving rooms, coordinating academic media support; and, coordinating travel reservations and processing expense reports. This position may include assisting faculty with publications, by incorporating faculty edits into drafts of manuscripts and articles. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sorting mail, assisting callers and taking messages, copying/scanning, managing MS Outlook calendars.

    Required Skills

    Associates degree or relevant experience required, B.A./B.S. preferred. Professional demeanor, as well as excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills, ability to be flexible and work independently, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Two to three years of related office experience, preferably in a large organization or university setting. Hours: 9 5.
