    JOB OVERVIEW: Atlas Van Lines is seeking a Senior Director, Technology Program Management to join our Information Technology team! The candidate will be responsible for building and overseeing the Atlas World Group Technology Program Management Office to ensure program and projects meet organizational goals and requirements. This position will be responsible for creating policies and processes in the areas of Program and Project Management, working with other organizational leaders to define, prioritize and develop projects and programs to achieve Atlas World Group objectives, and building/maintaining a Technology Business Partner model to ensure that the priorities of the organization are properly identified and regularly updated.

     

    The Sr. Director, Technology Program Management will also oversee the building and execution of a prioritization framework that will provide a business value perspective on active and requested programs and projects, maximize benefits and minimize issues surrounding program and project implementations, and report out to AWG senior management and the AWG board on program effectiveness and project status.

     

     

    In addition, this position will be responsible for these essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Building and overseeing an Atlas World Group Program Management Office providing oversight and direction to ensure effective prioritization and execution of organizational programs and projects.
    • Working directly with all AWG business units to implement a Technology Business Partner program that continuously gathers and updates status of priorities and projects across the enterprise.
    • Building and overseeing an effective Testing Program to ensure program and project implementations meet desired organizational goals.
    • Providing regular updates to the AWG Executive Management and Board of Directors on the state of Atlas World Group programs and projects.

     

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE & HOURS: This full-time position will consist of 40 hours per week. Hours fall between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., M-F.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a technology-related field
    • 10 years of job-related experience in Program/Project Management OR 15 years of job-related experience in Program/Project Management
    • Minimum 5 years directing a Program/Project Management function
