    POSITION SUMMARY:The Marketing Hookah position markets Ekko Lounge and services offered to our customer base and follows all specific marketing requirements and guidelines. Performs in a public relations capacity when promoting Ekko Lounge. Responsible for greeting, taking hookah, and checking on hookah through the night. Maintains all assigned wardrobes/uniform in accordance with established standards and uniform guidelines. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times. Performs other duties as requested. GUEST SERVICE REQUIREMENTS:

    Informs Supervisors of any irregularities, guest complaints or other disputes, which cannot be readily resolved

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:GUEST SERVICE/COMMUNICATION

    Greet all guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude

    Take guests' orders correctly and answer guest questions about the menu

    Make sure to constantly check on hookahs throughout the shift

    Communicate with server and Floor MOD about special guest needs

    Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner

    Anticipate guest needs

    Respond to guest concerns/complaints regarding hookah service or service in general and correct errors or resolve complaints with a positive attitude

    Adhere to all Ekko Lounge’s Standard Operating Procedures

    Maintain all Ekko Lounge’s Sequence of Service Standards

    Provide information to guests regarding our venue, menu, and pricing

    Be knowledgeable of all table/section numbers in the venue

    Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business

    Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations

    Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers

    Provide customers with information and directions

    RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT

    Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated

    Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring them to a Manager’s attention

    Refuses further service of alcohol to intoxicated guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner

    Responsible for checking the identification of customers in question and following all other responsible vending guidelines

    Comply with all safety and health procedures as well as Company and/or department policies/procedures

    Comply with all state liquor laws

    MAINTENANCE OF ALL TABLES IN STATION

    Walk tables every Thirty (30) minutes to ensure hookahs are in good working order, verify all guests have been helped, and report any cleaning issues to the Manager on Duty

    Keep the hookah station and all hookah equipment clean and organized

    Ensure daily/nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed

    Record and report any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a Manager immediately

    Ensure that all hookah setups are set correctly and clean

    Maintain Ekko Lounge Safety and Sanitation Standards

    Place all trash in proper receptacles

    MARKETING/PROMOTIONS

    Focuses on the development of a regular clientele base

    Adheres to all specified marketing requirements and guidelines (guest list, reservations, social media, etc)

    Pose for pictures as requested by management, and appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from the venue. Participate and appear in marketing, publicity, or media materials in the capacity as outlined herein.

    Marketing and promoting venue-specific events

    Interacts and entertains guests in a professional, cordial, and exemplary manner

    PROMPT, CORRECT, & COMPLETE SERVICE

    Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence

    Communicate with Floor Manager when a table/section has been sat

    Communicate with Security Manager if a section is occupied by guests who do not have a reservation

    Offer cocktail menu to guest

    RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT

    Assist all other team members as needed

    Create and maintain a sense of urgency

    Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time

    Performs other job-related duties as assigned

    Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents

    Present and maintain an attractive, professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Ekko Lounge standards to further the overall theme of the venue

    Ability to create and maintain service rapport through the Ekko Lounge Corporate philosophy

    MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS

    Must have an Instagram page, and one of the following: Tik Tok, Snapchat or Facebook

    Must have four (4) IG posts per week in relation to the venue

    Must post updated event information on a weekly basis on Facebook page

    Must have a ten (10) person guest list on each shift worked

    Must participate in outings as scheduled

    EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:

    High School Diploma required or equivalent

    18+ years of age required,

    Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

    Hospitality experience preferred

    Possession of/or ability to possess a valid TABC certificate and food handlers

    WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:

    POS systems

    Nightclub, bar, lounge, restaurant operations

    Liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail brand names

    Opening and closing duties

    Proper lifting techniques

    Guest relations

    Safe alcohol service

    Beverage presentation

    High volume operations

    Sanitation and safety
