POSITION SUMMARY:The Marketing Porter/Beverage Runner position markets the nightclub and services offered to our customer base and follows all specific marketing requirements and guidelines. Performs in a public relations capacity when promoting Ekko Lounge. Assists the Bar backs and Cocktail Servers in the opening, closing, and nightly duties. Retrieves and stocks inventory as needed. Maintains proper set-up, cleanliness, and maintenance of all venue space. Responsible for maintaining clean bars, stocking, and cleanliness of glassware, bar equipment, and supplying bar/service bar. Maintains all assigned wardrobes/costumes in accordance with established standards and uniform guidelines. Requests identification and payment from customers in a professional manner. Works in an efficient and professional manner while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering superior guest service at all times. Performs other duties as requested. GUEST SERVICE REQUIREMENTS:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:GUEST SERVICE/COMMUNICATION
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner
Greet all guests promptly, with a friendly and upbeat attitude
Anticipate guest needs
Adhere to all Ekko Lounge’s Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain all Ekko Lounge’s Sequence of Service Standards
Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through work area throughout the shift
Report any incidents of theft, vandalism, or violations
Reports any issues regarding guest dissatisfaction to the nearest manager immediately
Ability to communicate in English with guests and co-workers
Provide customers with information and directions
RESPONSIBLE ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT
Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated
Monitor potentially intoxicated and/or disruptive guests and promptly bring them to a Manager’s attention
Comply with all safety and health procedures as well as Company and/or department policies/procedures
Comply with all state liquor laws
CLEANING/MAINTENANCE
Proper setup, cleanliness, and maintenance of the entire venue space
Records and reports any equipment failure and/or safety hazards to a manager immediately
Responsible for making sure assigned area is always prepped accordingly with supplies and it is kept clean to run as efficiently as possible
Ensure cleanliness and efficient organization during the shift
Ensure tables and sections are set correctly and maintained to a high level of presentation
Clear tables and sections of debris and any spillage
Wipe down stainless steel on all ice machines
Fill soap and towels in hand sinks
Wipe down coolers
Report all breakage or damaged equipment immediately to management
Empty garbage cans from the floor and dispose of them correctly with all boxes broken down
Ensure all back-of-house storage and refrigeration areas are kept clean and secure
Complete closing duties, including storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, and returning equipment to proper locations
Deep clean walk-in coolers
Deep clean dish pit area
Clean drains of debris in all back of house drains
Polish glassware and service equipment throughout the night
Ensure daily/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed
Maintain Ekko Lounge Safety and Sanitation Standards
Clean all spills and waste immediately
Sweep and Mop as needed
Place all trash in proper receptacles
MAINTENANCE OF ALL TABLES IN SECTION
Keep table tops, floors, and service areas clean/free of dirty glasses, dirty plates, trash, and any unnecessary items throughout the shift
Ensure that all tables and chairs are set correctly and clean
Clean all spills and waste immediately
Place all trash in proper receptacles
Clean bottle displays
RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT
Related duties as assigned based on extensive experience working in an entertainment venue
Assist all other team members as needed
Create and maintain a sense of urgency
Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Assist with loading and unloading miscellaneous equipment, such as boxes, food, or beverage product
Inform management of any complaints, comments, or incidents
Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance adhering to Ekko Lounge standards to further the overall theme of the venue
Ability to create and maintain service rapport through the Ekko Lounge Corporate philosophy
Responsible for attending and participating in any training sessions and department meetings
Responsible for appearing for each shift on time
Give constructive feedback and suggestions to management
MARKETING RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS
Must have a social media page
Must have three (3) posts per week in relation to the venue
Must post updated event information on a weekly basis
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required or equivalent
18+ years of age required, 21+ preferred
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Hospitality experience preferred
Possession of/or ability to possess a valid TABC certificate and food handlers
WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
Nightclub, bar, lounge, restaurant operations
Liquor, beer, wine, and cocktail brand names
