The product owner is a vital role for the product team in executing against the shared vision of the company and product. The Product Owner reports to the Product Manager in supporting and influencing the product's vision and collaborating across teams to deliver a high-quality product. EKOS IS IN SEARCH OF A PRODUCT OWNER TO OWN INTEGRATIONS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND PRODUCTS THAT INTERFACE WITH THE CORE EKOS PLATFORM.
Position Description
Leads feature development on the product team through expertise knowledge of the software
The Product Owner will be responsible for the definition and delivery of enhancements and new functionality to continually optimize EKOS INTEGRATIONS, PARTNERSHIPS, AND PRODUCTS SUPPORTING THE CORE EKOS PLATFORM including both desktop and mobile web. Under direction from the Product Manager, this individual will be responsible for managing the product life cycle of these enhancements, from product definition to end of life. The product owner will be accountable for looking both internally and externally to understand customer and business needs and opportunities that can be addressed AS WELL AS WORKING ALONGSIDE THE CORE EKOS PRODUCT OWNER. In addition, the product owner will be responsible for proposing these improvements to the business, customer experience, documenting clear and complete business requirements, working with the UX team to design and get approval on the experience and working with technology to implement the solution.
Responsibilities
Own and organize the user stories and lead internal review sessions FOR FEATURES RELATING TO INTEGRATIONS, PRODUCTS INTERFACING WITH THE CORE EKOS PLATFORM, AND ONBOARDING TOOLS
Lead Feature Scope and User Stories in Development and Design alongside the creative team, business analysts, quality assurance, and the technology teams
Scope high level user stories along with low fidelity mockups and user journeys for new features and concepts
Work with internal and external partners to identify, get approval on, and implement customer requested and business strategy aligned proposals
Review, triage and communicate testing issues alongside the QA team
Proactively stay up to date on and provide ekos with expertise in the competitive landscape
Monitor voice of the customers and work with the Product Manager to implement countermeasures to address customer feedback
Qualifications
Ability to prioritize projects, communicate progress, and deliver on time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required with an ability to effectively communicate across a diverse stakeholder base.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in an organization that leverages agile
EXPERIENCE IN WORKING WITH DEVELOPING AN OPEN API, MANAGING PARTNER APIS AND INTEGRATION STRATEGIES ALONGSIDE DEVELOPMENT TEAMS
EXPERIENCE WORKING ON AN AGILE PRODUCT TEAM AS A PO, BA, OR SIMILAR ROLE
