    JOB TITLE: General Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    The General Manager reports to the Chief Operating Officer and ensures the venue achieves budgeted revenue and profit benchmarks through expense management and cost controls. Additionally, the General Manager is responsible for the entire physical plant and driving revenue through training and management of all service staff. The General Manager oversees all employees in the venue and will ensure a positive and profitable guest experience by ensuring all employees adhere to established processes and procedures.

    JOB FOCUS:

    Focus is on, but not limited to the following:

    Source all employees, conduct interviews and identify the best candidate for each position.

    Process all candidates per established employee hiring protocol.

    Execute established training protocol for each position, ensuring that all staff are well educated on the proper execution of their position.

    Coaches and counsels all staff to proper execution of established processes, adhering to established HR procedures.

    Handles all employee disciplinary action and terminations per established HR protocol.

    Ensure all established operational procedures are followed by all staff members always.

    Identify opportunities to improve profitability and customer experience through constant evaluation of operational procedures.

    Maintain a calm and focused demeanor in a variety of challenging environments, while working with a variety of personalities.

    Accurately and completely fill out all reports to ensure transparency of strengths and weaknesses of the business.

    Ensure the security of all company assets.

    Ensure all cash is accurately counted and secured always.

    Works with all staff members to ensure credit card and non-cash transactions are completed per established protocol.

    Remains actively engaged with all departments in the venue to ensure all deadlines are met per established timelines.

    Is actively involved in ensuring all expenditures remain in line with established budgets.

    Remain actively involved with all support companies and service providers, ensuring venue receives all services outlined in respective agreements.

    Ensures all guests receive the highest level of customer service, in line with expectations of the venue.

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    · 5 years’ experience in high volume restaurant management

    · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience recommended

    · Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

    · Possesses and maintains all required work cards

    · Valid Driver’s License

    · 21+ years of age

    · Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to established appearance standards

    · Positive, can-do attitude, ability to work full time and eagerness to gain experience and learn

    · Supreme attention to detail, highly organized and efficient

    · Resourcefulness and a strong work ethic a must

    · Individual must demonstrate integrity and professionalism

    · Strong Administrative writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office a must
