    JOB TITLE: Bus Person JOB DESCRIPTION: Provides attentive service to each customer in the venue and assigned section by working diligently to ensure the environment is clean and well stocked always. The Bus Person will set and clean tables in addition to assisting the Server with all tasks necessary, working to anticipate the needs of the customer and Server to provide exceptional service. Bus Persons are responsible for presenting themselves as a positive reflection of the venue while marketing to potential customers always. JOB FOCUS: Focus is on, but not limited to the following:  Act as an ambassador of the venue, marketing the venue and all products offered to the targeted customer base.  Be aware of impact individual behavior will have on the venue by presenting oneself as a public relations steward always.  Collect customer information for the venue database, while constantly striving to increase the size of your personal clientele.  Constantly provide customers with accurate information about the venue and property as well as entertainment offered in each.  Meet marketing requirements established by management.  Sets and resets tables per standard before, during and after service.  Buffs and polishes glassware, silverware and china to maintain a stock of supplies that are ready for service always.  Work to anticipate the needs of servers always, assisting them in any way necessary.  Assists Servers in service steps as necessary, to include food service, receiving drink orders, placing drink orders, carrying product to table and pre-bussing during service.  Ensures assigned station and side stations are adequately stocked with supplies, dry goods and service items prior to the start of and throughout service, restocking as needed during service.  Welcome all customers to the venue professionally and courteously, per the established venue sequence of service. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  A minimum of two years’ experience as a service assistant in a high volume, service focused venue.  Must have a working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer as well as any other product offered.  Must possess a working knowledge of social media marketing.  Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work as part of a team in a high pressure, high stress environment.  Must exhibit a focused attention to detail, while working in a high-pressure environment.  Must be professional and courteous always.  Must be able to maintain excellent customer service skills while maintaining high service standards in a stressful, constantly changing work environment.  Must be a self-motivated learner, who performs tasks with extreme care, concern and detail.  Must be physically able to walk on a variety of surfaces without assistance for a prolonged period.  Maintain a clean and safe working environment as outlined by the Health Department.  Must be able to meet and maintain established department grooming standards.  Must be organized, follow directions and make quick decisions that are consistent with established company standards.  Must possess a working knowledge of standards bar equipment to include dish washer, slicers, coolers, ice machine, coffee machine, etc.  Must possess a strong knowledge of, and desire to maintain, health and safety regulations.  Must be fluent in the English language, both written and oral. Multilingual skills are a plus.  Maintain a clean and professional look at all times  Must possess all required work cards.  Must be 21 years of age or older.
