Manage the business management financial aspects associated with execution of safety and mission assurance services for NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center missions. These missions study the Earth, planets, our sun, and astrophysics, and are in various stages of design, development, integration, test, and operations.
Under limited supervision, support planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting of projects. Participate in the development of WBSs, other related dictionaries, and budgets, as necessary, which lead to the establishment of a cost/schedule baseline. Regularly interact with managers, engineers, and other key functional/support organizations including finance, accounts receivable, contracts, and procurement to accomplish tasks. Monitor project costs and commitments, schedule performance, and performance against the baseline. Understand financial policies and reporting procedures. Prepare ad hoc customer reports. Perform complex analyses and assigned special projects. Perform and delegate task assignments, assign and monitor task performance, and assist in preparing and making customer presentations. Assist in development and maintenance of Operating Plan; perform cost and schedule analysis; assess cost and schedule performance against Operating Plan; and perform forecasting, budgeting.Maintain overall system configuration control over business databases, task orders, Government charge numbers, and Operating Plan estimates, and verify timecard data integrity. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial 533 reports. Provide hours and Other Direct Costs (ODCs) data for Government Contract Compliance Audit Analyses; compile and analyze indirect budgeting data on a monthly basis. Prepare financial analysis for Performance-Based Metrics Report and other financial reports requested by the Program Manager.
