    Precise Systems is seeking Logisticians to support the Vertical Launch System (VLS) In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Surface Launching Systems department at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD). The position will consist of serving as a member VLS ISEA Team providing all facets of logistics support and ensuring that all goals and timelines of the various missions are successfully achieved.

    Duties:

    • The candidate will support planning for Fleet events, including daily agendas, trainings, splinters, and feedback.
    • The candidate will utilize PHD's Procurement Request Tool (PRT) to complete the purchase process of parts for both USN and FMS customers.
    • The candidate will utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Warehouse Movement Forms to pull items from warehouse inventory as needed for designated projects.
    • The candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of Mid-Year and Program Review Presentations.
    • The candidate will utilize the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Action Item Tracking Database to assist with development, tracking, and closure of VLS related action items.
    • The candidate will provide Logistics support for Casualty Reports (CASREP)s, and work with Supply and fleet as necessary, tracking CASREP Corrections (CASCOR)s and Unit Recons.
    • The candidate will provide Logistics support for Ship’s Maintenance Action Forms (2-KILO)s by keeping in touch with fleet and communicating as necessary with Supply.
    • The candidate will provide Logistics support analyzing Logistics Support Assistance Team (LOGSAT) data and Fleet deficiencies and follow up to ensure that all deficiencies rectified.
    • The candidate will utilize various sources to track and search for parts inventories as requested.
    • The candidate will utilize SAVORS to place requisitions for parts movements and shipments for special projects and fleet support.
    • The candidate will utilize tracking tools to monitor Decommissioned (DECOM) inventory.

    Required Experience :

    • 2+ years of related experience in U.S. Navy procurement processes.
    • Knowledge of MK 41 VLS Module component parts and subassemblies
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficiency using SAVORS, OneTouch, and the Configuration Data Managers Database - Open Architecture (CDMD-OA).
    • Familiarity with CASREP and 2-KILO maintenance reporting.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
    • High degree of self-motivation.
    • Self-starter willing to work in a team environment

    Required Education:

    • High School Diploma required.
    • Junior college associate degree is a plus

    Other Requirements:

    • Ability to travel up to 25%.
    • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
    • Valid driver’s license for possible CONUS travel.
    • Current U.S. passport for possible OCONUS travel.

    Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
