    Job Description

    As an Electro-Mechanical technician your job will consist of assembling sub-tier and upper level assembling of electronic Mil-Aerospace displays and peripheral assemblies. Require the ability to repair assemblies and equipment. Examine parts for defects, aligns, fits and assembles parts into completed units. You will also gain experience in test and integration of products.

    Essential Job Functions:

    • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, specifications and technical procedures to determine methods and sequence of assembly operations.
    • Ability to utilize hand tools, power tools, fixtures and templates.
    • Solder, assemble cables assemblies and assemble electrical and mechanical parts in specific location on various sub-assemblies and completed assemblies.
    • Work in clean room atmosphere to perform final displays head assemble (DHA) processing for a variety of modules
    • Modify modules with various enhancements (films) and LED rail configurations
    • Unit Measuring comprehension i.e. fraction-decimal-mm with calibers and rulers
    • Clean glass with various types of cleaning agents to eliminate film and foreign materials.

    • High School Diploma
    • 5 years minimum in a manufacturing environment.
    • Understanding of AS9100 QMS or equivalent Quality System, the Director of operations and the Human Resource manager determine whether education and training are “equivalent” based on his/her experience
    • Clean Room experience a plus.
    • Patience is key as the process can be tedious and require attention to detail at all times

    Physical Requirements

    • Good eye-hand coordination and a steady hand
    • Ability to discriminate colors on wires.
    • Manual dexterity.
    • Ability to lift up to 30/50lbs.
    • Ability to stand for a 9 hrs. shift (with breaks)

    Education and Training:

    • All employees are required to complete ESD, Hazard communication and safety training.
    • In house training for soldering, wiring and assembly of assemblies.

    Certifications:

    • IPC-A-610 Workmanship
    • J-STD-001 Soldering
