Job Description

** Scope:** The Financial Analyst III supports the preparation and presentation of financial results of projects to the business leadership to ensure attainment of financial & operational objectives. Monitors financial and schedule performance of the company and gives feedback to the company regarding opportunities to improve effectiveness.

** Responsibilities & Tasks:**

• Review financial reports.
• Monitor accounts.
• Prepare activity reports and financial forecasts and budgets.
• Improve profitability and analyze markets for business opportunities, such as expansion, mergers or acquisitions.
• Oversee the flow of cash and financial instruments.
• Prepare reports as required by law, regulations or company policies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
• Other duties as decided by supervisor.

** Consulting Relationships:**

• Business Unit Finance Managers
• Director and Managers of Program Planning & Controls
• Corporate FP&A Manager
• Site Accounting staff
• Government Compliance

** Outside Business Relationships:**

• External auditors
• DCAA and DCMA auditors
• Parent company ESL Financial Managers and staff

Qualifications

** Education** (Highest Level Required/Preferred):

• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
• Preferred major fields: Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Statistics.

** Experience Required:**

• 5-10+ years of business finance or other relevant experience

** Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required** :

• Excellent communications (oral and written)
• Proficient command of English
• MBAs are preferred
• Strong quantitative and analytical competency
• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level management
• Strong financial modeling experience
