About the Role:

ComForCare Home Health Care (North San Diego) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Elder Support Aide to join our growing team in San Diego, CA. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by providing personalized, in-home care that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being. If you have a heart for helping others, we'd love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

Assist elderly clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and social well-being

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed

Support safe mobility and transfers, including assistance with walking and wheelchair use

Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and errands

Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors

Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans

Transport clients to appointments and community activities as needed

Requirements:

Prior experience in elder care, home health, or a caregiver role preferred

Genuine compassion, patience, and respect for the elderly population

Ability to assist with physical tasks including lifting, transferring, and supporting client mobility

Strong communication and observational skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Ability to pass a background check and reference verification
